Things were good today. I think everyone is pretty happy with the way their cars are running...except Scotty....he has been lacking in track time as he has been taking care of Sarah, but got some good run time in the last hour and is looking to get a good run in tomorrow.

Today consisted of about 2 hours of open practice and then a round of "practice" qualifying....so a round of qualifying that is just practice. Dust ran very well in 10.5 buggy....I think he ended up 3rd and I didn't do so hot. Buck, Sarah, and myself did well in stock practice....if it was qualifying I would have been 4th, Buck would have been 9th, and I'm not sure about Sarah. Due seems to be stepping it up, didn't get a chance to watch him much today.

Scotty and Sarah are running the new Proline tires on the rear. They are called Suburbs. They look similar to a BK Bar but have a few differences....I guess they are supposed to last a lot longer than the Losi tires....we will find out.

Qualifying is tomorrow. 2 rounds tomorrow and 2 rounds on Saturday and we are running qual points. For you that aren't familiar with qual points that means that you you get points for where you finish in that round against everyone else in your class. So if you are the fastest you get a zero, second fastest gets a 2, third fastest a 3 and so on. Then they take your best 2 points and add them together and the guy with the lowest points is the top quailifier or on the pole for the mains.
