Here are the post race pictures.

Here is the only proof I came home with to prove that I made the A. Boooo!
Scotty took 2nd place in Old Dude Truck...nice job Scotty!

Dust Dominated!!
Dust in the winners circle. I overheard Maifield tell him "Nice Run"

The Wisconsin crew....plus a Brit.
Wisconsin crew plus a multi time world Champ! Masami Hirosaka

Here are some pictures from main day.

Staying out in front of Sarah! :)

Contemplating life.

The Champ!

This is Ish. He is a friend of Scotty and Sarah's from the Phillipines. He was a huge suprise for Scotty and he was a great guy. He came just to record some of the top dawg's and hung out with us in between and in the evening. He invited all of Trackside to his track for the next "Scotty Ernst Big Race"

Still wrenching and gluing tires!

Hi Buck!

Here is the start of Scotty vs. Buck main event!

Here is the 5 minute battle for bragging rights! I think you can hear the Brits and half the AE tent cheering on Buck! They were even louder for his bump up race! It was awesome...not in this race but in his first you could hear Lee Martin & Neil Cragg follow Due & Turds lead...."Go Buck!" then lean over and ask "Who the (something I couldn't understand) is Buck?" ;) Just imagine all that with an english accent....great stuff! Buck's following has extended over the pond.

Sorry for the delay everyone. I came home Monday very ill...102 fever, coughing, and all kinds of other stuff. I will try to get the final pictures up along with some results sometime soon.

As for myself I finished 6th in Stock Buggy and unfortunetly 3rd in 10.5 B Main....since the top 2 bump to the A...we decided that I won the B :)

Too tired to post anything....I will try to catch up this week.

Big news though....Steven Just TQ's and wins the very contested 10.5 buggy class. In dominating fashion! Way to go Dust!!!

Scotty also takes home hardware for a 2nd place finish in Old Dude Truck.

It sucks....they only have trophy's (pitboards) for the top 3 winners and the TQ. No one else gets anything....seems pretty cheap to me!

Today was day 2 of qualifying. Things went pretty well overall. Steven Just aka. Dust, Wonder Dust, Rainman is the Top qualifier in the highly competitive 10.5 buggy class. CONGRATS TO DUST!!! He also qualified 5th in 10.5 4wd.

Buck is....not so much. But he did make the triple in 2wd! That was awesome!

Scotty is participating. He has been a serious wrench for Sarah. He has really been taking care of everything on Sarah's rides.....working his butt off! And he 4wd is looking good now that he has had some track time.

Sarah is 7th in Stock Buggy, 10th in 10.5 truck, 13 in Stock Truck, and not sure about 10.5 4wd. She had done very well!! They are putting 8 in the 10.5 mains and then bumping 2....everything about this race screams nitro...you can tell the organizers like nitro with the bump ups and stuff. We actually qualified with an open clock, so no calling names, they just start the clock and peopel go at their will.

I qualified 10th in Stock buggy and 10th in 10.5 buggy. So I made the A in Stock and need to finish 1st or 2nd in 10.5 to bump up to the A. I am very happy to make the A in stock....just barely :) Now I have a chance to beat Sarah!!!

Quotes of the day:
Sarah = End of the day....Triple A mains? "If I knew that I would have tried" YEAH RIGHT!
Buck = "We don't talk about you behind your back that much....that you know of"
Buck = "If I start to suck I'm going to triple the double double" And he did!

So today was the first day of qualifying and things went well. The 4 wheel drive trackside crew of Scotty, Sarah, and Dust had some issue's in the first round but are getting things figured out. It's pretty late and I'm ready of bed....so I will try to give you more details later but....

They are running qual points, best 2 out of 4 rounds count and you get points for how well you do in each round of qualifying not just againt the guys in your race...but against everyone in that class. In Stock I was 6th overall and not sure about the 2nd (hopefully my throw out) but I think it was probably in the low teens. In 10.5 buggy I got 10th in the first round and 7th in the second round....I'm really pleased with my runs in 10.5.

Dust TQ'd the 2nd round of 10.5 buggy.....great run! and he got a 4 in the 1st round...so he should be a lock for the A-main in 10.5. Sarah is doing well with her truck and had a very good run in the 2nd qualifier of stock buggy. There is a picture below of the motor she is using in 10.5 truck...I guess it is either the only one or one of very few. Scotty and Buck are running well....it's all about running clean laps on this track. You only get about 10 and they are tough to keep clean because of the many jumps.

Here is a link to a few laps with Jared Tebo running his 2nd round 4-wheel drive qualifyer...he is very fast!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEZ7aVhcACI

Time for bed!

So we had a "dirt-devil" today....I would call it a mini tornado...took out a good number of pop-ups. Right behinda and next to us this mini-tornado picked up their large pop-up with 2 guys attached and demolished it. Down the way it picked up a pop-up and sent it about 2 blocks down the street. And as you can see the Hot Bodies tent ended up on the electric wires.....kinda scary. Luckily we had Scotty hanging on to ours and we didn't get hit that hard bad I guess.

Here are some pictures.....crazy stuff.
